Nonprojections and New Lovers on ARTINFO

Noelle Bodick of BLOUIN ARTINFO covers Paul Chan's Hugo Boss exhibition, "Nonprojections for New Lovers" currently on view at the Guggenheim. Bodick posits that Chan's Nonprojections, "a response to the image-saturated world" have more in common with our erotica series [New Lovers] than one might assume:

Like the “Nonprojections,” the three purple, paper-bound erotic books along the side wall — hilariously titled “How to Train Your Virgin,” “We Love Lucy,” and “God, I Don’t Even Know Your Name” — provide another sort of inward projection, exploring the seductive roaming of the human imagination. —Noelle Bodick
