Broadly Profiles New Lovers Live from NYABF
Lauren Oyler of Broadly spoke with Paul and Micaela Durand after the New Lovers reading and panel at the New York Art Book Fair at MoMA PS1 a few weeks ago. They discussed the origins of New Lovers, how we find our writers, why they are all women, and how "complicated" romance, sexuality, and erotica are today, among other things. "Sexuality is so complicated," Chan said, "but one of the reasons I wanted to do New Lovers was to publish something that was pleasurable and fun while having the complicatedness in it.
